১০ ডিসেম্বর ঢাকায় বিএনপির সমাবেশ ঘিরে জনসমাগম, মিছিল-মিটিং ও নাশকতার পরিকল্পনার অভিযোগে সাতক্ষীরার তালা উপজেলার দুই ইউপি চেয়ারম্যানকে আটক করেছে পুলিশ।
সোমবার (৫ ডিসেম্বর) দুপুরে ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের নিজ কার্যালয় থেকে তাদের আটক করা হয়। আটক ব্যক্তিরা হলেন: ধানদিয়া ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের বিএনপি সমর্থিত চেয়ারম্যান জাহাঙ্গীর হোসেন ও ইসলামকাটি ইউনিয়নের জামায়াত সমর্থিত চেয়ারম্যান অধ্যাপক গোলাম ফারুক।
