সুজন হোসেন রিফাত রাজৈর প্রতিনিধি : মাদারীপুরের রাজৈরে মোঃ শাহীন শেখ(৩২) নামে এক ভুয়া পুলিশ পরিচয় দানকারীকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে রাজৈর থানা পুলিশ। এসময় ওই ভুয়া পুলিশ পরিচয়কারীর কাছ থেকে একটি ভুয়া পুলিশ আইডি কার্ড ( পরিচয় পত্র) ও একটি মোবাইল উদ্ধার করে রাজৈর থানার পুলিশ। সে উপজেলার বৌলগ্রামের শাহ আলম শেখের ছেলে।
পুলিশ জানায়, রোববার (২৬ নভেম্বর) বেলা সাড়ে ১১ টায় প্রেস ব্রিফিং এর মাধ্যমে তথ্য নিশ্চিত করে। রাজৈর থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ মোঃ আলমগীর হোসেন বলেন, শনিবার (২৫ নভেম্বর) রাতে টেকেরহাট ঘোষালকান্দি গ্রামে পুলিশ পরিচয় দিয়ে একজনকে আটক করে শাহীন, পরে তাকে সন্দেহজনক মনে হলে আটক করে স্থানীয় জনগণ। খবর পেয়ে পুলিশ গিয়ে তার কাছ থেকে পারভেজ হোসেন লেখা একটা ভুয়া আইডি কার্ড পায়। এসময় তাকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়। তার বিরুদ্ধে একটি নিয়মিত মামলা দায়ের করা হয়েছে।
তিনি আরও জানান, ইতিপূর্বে তার বিরুদ্ধে কেরানীগঞ্জ থানায় একটি ডাকাতি ও একটি চাঁদাবাজি এবং রাজৈর থানায় ২০১৮ সালে চুরি মামলা ছিল। এছাড়া নড়াইলে লোহাগড়া থানায় তার বিরুদ্ধে একটি ডাকাতি প্রস্তুতি মামলা আছে। সে একজন পেশাদার ক্রিমিনাল। বিভিন্ন সময় বিভিন্ন রুপ ধারণ করে অপরাধ সংগঠন করে থাকে। এরই ধারাবাহিকতায় একজন সাধারণ জনগণকে অসৎ উদ্দেশ্যে হেনস্তা করার জন্য আটক করে।
